The food at the Punchbowl Inn was of high quality. the staff was super friendly. My partner and I booked a standard twin room that was complete with the beginnings of the Askham Hall estate. the room had a large TV and the bathroom was as advertised.

No complains at all, the venue met what was needed, recommend it. Our stay here was fabulous, perfect place for exploring Askham. The location of the hotel was incredible, in beautiful surroundings. Most staff were obliging, impressive rooms. The food was well presented, with plenty of options.

The room was lovely with great facilities, and the bed was unbelievably comfy. The staff were very welcoming and polite, and the food was superb. The inn is set in a wonderful location, with some original features.
In terms of maintenance, as the window in my room was difficult to open and the catch was loose. The breakfast could have been better, as the selection was average and the cutlery and coffee cups had a perfume smell.
